You [CANDIDATE NAME] will be responsible for installing scaffolding around a structure or within a building that is being built, renovated, or demolished. Besides, you should be capable of identifying existing or predictable hazards in the surroundings. Though it is mainly an outdoor job, you have to work in most weather conditions. This position requires someone who isn't scared to climb, stroll, and work at high altitudes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• •     Designing and preplanning the scaffold, including weight restrictions, scaffold type, fall prevention, tie-offs, and supports, among other 

     things

• •      Laying scaffolding planks (battens) for workers to walk on

  •      Erecting the scaffolding poles (standards) and connecting the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples

  •      Checking the scaffold to see if a competent person can use it securely

  •      Putting up guard railings and safety nets

  •      Placing foundation plates at regular distances on the ground as these stop the upright poles from slipping

  •      Utilizing scaffolds in conformity with all local, state, federal, manufacturer, and institutional norms and regulations

  •      Taking down scaffolding after its usage
