You will closely work with the engineering designers, steel erectors, and other construction workers on high-rise buildings on a variety of construction sites. Duties and Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings

• Creating work locations and identifying the supplies needed

• Cutting and bending steel bars and mesh with hand and power tools

• Joining steel reinforcement bars, footings, and grinders by welding ow with clips or wires

• Setting out work areas and determining the required materials

• Using personal protective equipment

• Preparing concrete, which includes mixing sand, cement, and water before pouring it into the prepared castings
