• Measuring instruments for measuring bodies and textiles in order to match garments to particular consumers

• Modifying garments according to customer specifications, such as tapering pant legs, lining transparent outfits, eliminating pockets, and       adding cushioning

• Changing the length of sleeves or straps, narrowing lapels, and taking in or letting out seams to enhance comfort and fit

• Repairing clients' clothes by patching or mending torn and holes

• Making clothes for customers according to their design ideas, demands, and desires

• Providing cost estimates to clients for the manufacture of tailored clothes

• Ensuring that garments are not destroyed during the alteration process
